Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024 online registration will be available starting on January 31, 2024, and closing on February 29, 2024 for the following: For direct recruitment by selection in Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against the Cultural Quota for the year 2024, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, New Delhi, is accepting applications from eligible Indian residents.

Age Restriction
As of July 1, 2019, 18 to 30 years old. Serving railway employees who have completed three years of regular railway service are entitled to apply for a maximum age of 40 years for UR, forty-five years for SC/ST, and 43 years for OBC. The Upper Age Limit is relaxable for candidates who are SC/ST candidates, and for candidates who are OBC candidates.
Pay Scale
Level 2 of the Pay Matrix 7th CPC is the pay scale.
Required Qualifications
- 12th grade (Matric + 2 stage) or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks overall. It is not necessary to insist on 50% of the marks for candidates who are SC, ST, or Ex-SM, or who have completed more than two stages of education.
- The ability to type on a computer in Hindi or English is necessary.
- (i) To become a drama artist, a candidate must hold a degree, diploma, or certificate in drama from an institution accredited by the government. (ii) For the classical singer position (male or female), the applicant must hold a degree, diploma, or certificate in Hindustani vocal music from an institution accredited by the government.
Desirable Qualifications
- Field experience and appearances on Doordarshan, AIR, etc.
- Awards obtained on a national scale.
Exam Fee
Candidates from SC, ST, former military personnel, persons with disabilities (PWDs), women, minorities, and economically disadvantaged classes may apply for a fee of ₹ 250. ₹ 500/-for every additional applicant. The only method accepted for payment of the examination fee is online.

The Northern Railway will post the chosen candidates.
Process Of Selection
Written exam (objective type), medical examination, and talent assistant in the appropriate field.

How to Apply Northern Railway Cultural Quota
Starting on January 31, 2024, eligible candidates must complete the online application on the Northern Railway RRC website (rcnr.org). Candidates must fill out all fields and upload photocopies of the necessary records, which include community certificate, essential educational and cultural qualifications, and date of birth. Online registration will close on February 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
